Zazzle Review : Kalos Eidos

Hey there and welcome back! today you'll get to know another great Zazzle Contributor ready to show her best!

Kalos Eidos!

Mary, for Kalos gives us her word on her work:

"Kalos Eidos features kaleidoscopic art on a variety products including t-shirts, Keds shoes, mugs greeting cards, bags, mousepads and more. I am a completely self-taught digital artist, and I love the learning process as much as creating the actual art. Using my designs to customize Zazzle products in order to offer my work to the public is a naturally enjoyable part of the creation process, and I look forward to growing as an artist and Zazzle contributor!"

So, what we have here is a tematic shop. With a tematic shop you have a two way street. On one hand, if you like this stuff the whole store if for you. On the other hand, if your not into Kaleidoscopic art, you might not jump at these products right away... but c'mon, let's take an indeep look.

We get off with this review with this gorgeous Keds slip on shoes. The thing with this art is that it just works. The flow of the pattern works with the shoe itself. Making for something you can wear in your home for comfort or even to go out with your family.

The things with this sort of footwear is that it works just fine with jeans as it would with shorts, it's a match game that will run you about $72.00. Somewhat steep, no doubt. But how much you think custom footwear costs!?

Next we have this very nice T-Shirt. Now, many of you might not know this, but Shirts at zazzle are customizable. So, for the same design, you can change the Shirt type and color into over 100 options. And that's the drive here. The design itself is nicely done. Simple, but simplicity does go a long way. Plus, i personally prefer simple designs. They give more bang for their buck and are never too pretentious.

At just $26.35 you get a custom design at a custom shirt. Beautiful motif and ready for anyone and any season. It's what's zazzle is about, and this right here is enough evidence of what you can get.

Now, you know mousepads. If you're here now, you have one. The thing with mousepads is that most people just go for the basic black and/or blue ones and stay there. nobody really pays attention to these, and that's a mistake. For people who work on their computers, on use one on a daily basis, a simple mousepad can be a nice gift. For any day, and any momment.

The design here is trully "girly", but on the other hand, you have something that skips age. From 13 to 31 you can have something like this, and i bet you see your desktop looks better. It's better when your desk is clean and organized, isnt? People pay hundreds for custom PC cases, mouses, Monitors and the such... why not go the extra $13,15 and get yourself a nice compliment? Not only this is cheaper than what you would pay on a simple Black Mousepad, but also it has it's own personality.

OVERALL:

On the overall view, Kalos Eidos is a classic WYSIWYG (What you see is What You Get) store. The art is constant, the prices are within range, the quality is constant, and with over 500 options for you to check, i would dare anyone to look at this store and not find at least one item that someone they know would like.

Zazzle Review : Flynn the cat

Hi there! and welcome back to the Zazzle Reviewer!

Today is our first review, and we're pretty excited about it, because we already have a big other, over a Dozen zazzlers have requested our help in less than a week! And we plan to help them all! So if you're one of them, pass this blog around and just wait for the visits to pop up!

Today we're reviewing :

Flynn the Cat's Fantasy Art

So let's see some words from the Artist and owner

"I am... mad, like all the best artists. I have a BSc in Marine Biology (it feels odd... it's all new) I paint like blazes when inspired and get grouchy when I can't paint. I procrastinate like the devil, and have never managed to finish a painting with it looking the way it was meant to be at the start.

I'm on Deviantart (http://flynn-the-cat.deviantart.com ) and RedBubble (http://flynnthecat.redbubble.com) and keep making myself busier and busier...
I mostly paint with ArtRage (http://www.squidoo.com/artragepainting ) because it combines painting with computers. I experiment, and I keep trying to learn from everything I draw.
And I'm on Zazzle because I need an outlet and a purpose to all this. Also, some money would be nice!"

Flynn's art proves itself to be quite unique in style, and actually, gorgeous. Digital art, combined with hand-draw paintings, Flynn's designs as a whole have the artistic feel that you would expect of an art gallery.

This first design proves just that. A simple stamp, done in a ver artistic flair. The 20 unit Sheet will cost you $20,70 . Some of you might think this is a high price, and it's true to some degree, but not truth in the whole... after all you're getting a gorgeous, hand-made one-of-a-kind art design.

Quality comes with a price tag, and Flynn's is not overpricing.

Our next item in this review is this gorgeous Postcard, now, this will run for you at $9,04. Now, this would be the sort of item you would purchase as a "extra" in a bigger sale. And the reason is simple, really... it's a great selection of colors and the brushwork simply works. It's a painting in Postcard form. But what we notice from people who purchase a lot of Postcards is that they look for a "Theme" in it. And that is lacking here.

The art itself is great, but you can find in Zazzle several pieces of work that deal with the brushwork of a rainbow. Still, it's a great looking item. It's just something that it's more likely to be added to a bigger sale than to actually be the main drive of one.

And finally, we have this beautifull Greeting card. Now, this will run for you at $3.80 which is actually a great deal. The art is fantastic. And it simply fits a whole array of themes you can use.

But the main drive in this item for me is the fact that it's a BLANK greeting card. Now, why would a Blank greeting card be better than a "Hallmart-i-wish-you-so-damn-well" card? Simple. A Blank greeting card has a heart.

The only thing that says "I dont really know you" as much as a Gift certificate for $20, is a Greeting card all ready for shipping with no personal message. A Blank greeting card, allows you to get down to a more personal level, to touch someone with a loving message that comes from -you-. Not only that but, most people usually dont even expect personal message in their greeting cards, so you can even send some nice surprizes with something like this, put a smile on someone's face. And at this price, a Bulk purchase can be a great deal.

OVERALL:

On overall feel, Flynn's store has a great deal of options, reporting 185 options as of the writing of this review. The price range might not be everyone's cup of tea, but those who dont mind paying for true high quality material are in for a treat!

This is a Zazzle store you most certainly want to take a minute to check out.

Welcome to Zazzle Reviewer

Welcome to the Zazzle Reviewer!

Welcome Zazzlers and People who just loves cool stuff!

This is Zazzle Reviewer. Your number ONE source of Great deals and Creative design you will ever find.

So, do you have a Zazzle Store? Plan on making one? Want more attetion ot your stuff? We can, and we WILL help you. Also, you just might find some cool deals in shirts, mousepads, mugs and even skateboards!

So, how does it work? It's really simple.

Do you want your Zazzle Store Reviewed? Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you have a Zazzle Store first. Put some products in it. You can creat your own Zazzle Store at www.zazzle.com right now!
  2. Drop us a line at Ricardoaraujo@dr.com or Ricardojudice@gmail.com letting us know about your store.
  3. Wait to rake in the new visits!
See? It's simple! But hold on a second there... as everything, there are some rules you should know as courtesy for this. So let's take a second to talk about those ok?

  • First of all, dont forget that this is a free service we're a providing. No "agendas" here. We just want to help the smaller shops to get more (and most of the time worthy) attetion.
  • We're not robots. We have lives, jobs, loved ones, friends, and even have our own Zazzle stores to run. So dont get mad if your e-mail dosent get a reply right away or your store isnt reviewed on the spot...
  • Never take it personally. Reviewing means pointing out the good, and sometimes the bad... we're not here just to rub egos. We are honest and fair 100% of the time. So, between the praise your products might get... there might be a critic or two. Make sure you know that.
  • Depending on how many people ask to be reviewed, somtimes it can take some time for us to get to you. Dont get upset with that... first come, first served always... BUT... check out the next rule we have...
  • You might not get Reviewed. Why and How would that happen? Simple. I can only talk about the stuff that i like. I give MY opinion, my view. I try to expose the good side on your shop everytime, but that's impossivel if your work just dosent suit my tast. So keep in mind that if you ask us to review your store and all you have are 10 itens made with the same purple flower pattern... you might not get reviewed. I would rather say nothing at all than to come out here and say bad things about your stuff.
  • We're trying to help the little shops. If you're a Zazzler Pro, please keep that in mind. I wont deny to review a good store if you're a pro Zazzler... but if you're pro, that means you make 100$ per month on Zazzle, so, you dont REALLY need our help... right?

However, regarding our own rules for reviews... there is 1 situation where we will ALWAYS review you.

  • If you send us a Sample. That is, if you actually mail us your product. You dont have to do that, not ever, to get reviewed here. But if you want, it's our pledge to ALWAYS review samples. (and the Store of the sender, of course ) Dosent matter what they are. If you want to mail us samples, keep in mind that i live in BRAZIL and that it's not required. But if you want, mail me about it and i'll pass you the address.

So, with all that in mind, this is how you get reviewed at the Zazzle Reviewer.

Mail us the following:

  1. Your Zazzle Store link (no zazzle Star, ok?)
  2. 3 Links to products you want us to check out (we might talk about other items too)
  3. Your Blog Panel code (it will be feature on the right side bar)
  4. Your flash panel code (optional)
  5. A bit of information about you. Your store, your products, and why you zazzle. (please keep it short and to the point)
Only send images if they are Photos of you (or someone) using your products (we will feature those, but they will be edited). ANd your store link will be Permanently display in our sidebar too.

We're cool so far? Ok!

Now, about this Blog... do you like this idea? Do you want this to grown? In that case you can help us to help you too!

Spread the word. Send this Blog to your Zazzle Friends, if you get Reviewed, send the review around. If you think more people should know... spread the word! The more people know about this Blog, more visits you will get! Everybody wins!

Also, you might have noticed that we have a Paypal "Donate" Button at the bottom of the right side... that button is there for a reason: 100% of anything that comes trough that button will be used to get payed advertising for this Blog. But please, if you choose to donate, send in a e-mail letting me know (so i can keep track) but also... never think that by Donating we will have some sort of "Obligation" to put a good word for your store or your products... it's donation. And it will be only used to buy ad space for this Blog. Ok?

So, what are you waiting for? First come, first served!!
